Customizing SpreadFirefox affiliates module

Hello -

We're having trouble customizing text on the SpreadFirefox affiliates module. We have a set of directions that explains how to use the affiliate banners, and we entered it in the box under admin>settings, but it only shows up when a user is logged in. Anonymous users don't see our explanation. We want to change this, but first we have to find out where the text goes.

So the question is, where does this module keep the user text that it gets from admin>settings? It doesn't seem to be anywhere in affiliates.module.
