Hi,
I recently migrated from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 and since day 1 of the migration, I have a very weird problem: the feed of the website shows a full feed, instead of a partial one with just the title & the teaser.
I went through the configuration menu and set the RSS feed to be a partial one. And even though the setting made there is the one I need, it looks like Drupal 7 totally ignores my setting.
Can you help me out with some ideas on what to do to fix this issue?
Thanks a lot for the help.
PS: I noticed something very weird just now. In RSS publishing, if I set the feed to show only the title - it works and shows only the title.
However, when i set it to use titles plus teasers, it shows the whole content. It is as if it doesn't tell the difference between the teaser and the whole body.

Managed to find the solution
Managed to find the solution eventually. For those having the same issue:
It seems that the RSS publishing settings in the Configure menu do not really apply to content on your site.
For RSS to be partial, not full, you need to edit individual settings for each content type, in the menu: Home › Administration › Structure › Content types
There go to Manage display for each content type. Go to custom display settings and check RSS. Then edit the display settings for RSS.
But,
Shouldn't views override this? Otherwise we will not be able to create different feed formats.
edit: I added and RSS setting in the content type, and it did not change the results for me. I still see the full content (less images BTW)
