Description

I would like to be able to assign categories (eg DVDs, Games, etc) to items on my wishlist and be able to browse the wishlist by categories.

Depending on what specifically you want, this is quite possibly already in place.

You can assign a taxonomy to wishlist items, assign them as you deem appropriate, and then browse them through the /taxonomy/term displays and leverage all of the various taxonomy modules, such as taxonomy menu, to build navigation for your wishlist items. I felt leveraging existing modules and systems was the most appropriate path to integration with taxonomy when I designed the wishlist module.

If this is not what you want, then describe what you do want in quite a bit more detail and we'll go from there. I suspect that views integration would be part of any changes.

Did you try assigning taxonomy classifications to wishlist items? Did that achieve what you wanted?

If you can articulate a change and are willing to field questions as/if I work through them please engage here. I'll let this issue lie through April and will close it out if there is no further input.

No further feedback provided, closing the issue. Reopen with more of a spec of what you want if this remains important to you.
