My site is down. I have been out sick for a week so I am not sure when it went out. I think I know what may have caused the problem. I am sharing a Hostgator account with some friends learning Drupal. So they don't think they did anything but I have been running sites for 5 years and have never had a problem before.

Sin 1 - Letting others have access to my directory.
Sin 2 - I have not run Backup and Migrate in over a month.

The front pages seems to work great, but literally EVERYTHING else is down. I can't log in. Nothing. I can restore from the last backup but I would rather capture everything. Any ideas?

If I had to take a wild guess, I would say it has something to do with your .htaccess file. I would start there.
