Upon sending a chat msg the screen will flash as it reloads the page.

Is there a quick way to prevent this? It does not happen when receiving a msg.

With which browser? Can you provide more information?

This happens in Firefox 2.0 and IE 7.0 when sending messages.

I am using the Garland Theme on Drupal 5.1.

I also have JSTools module, but that shouldn't effect anything...

You mean the entire screen flashes, or just the chatblock portion of it?

The entire screen. I even loose my scroll position.

I think the Javascript is failing on your page. I've noticed that this is a problem for a bunch of people, but I can't seem to reproduce the errors on my page. I think it might be theme related. I should do some testing and see if this is a problem with the Garland theme on my website.

It's definitely conflicting somewhere. I can't send messages on IE 7....Page Error: Object required.

If IE 7 wasn't a p.o.s I might be able to debug the JS error better.

Hopefully I've fixed these JS errors with the most recent version of Chatblock. Download it in a few hours and see how it goes.
