Hi,
I just downloaded and activated this module. I went to my content type (Publication Chapter) and added the same CCK field (field_cover_thumb) that I already had in place on another content type (Publication Parent). I checked "inherit this field from a parent node", and selected "from menu".

I want to add a thumbnail graphic using field_cover_thumb to Publication Parent, and have that value inherited by the same, empty field in Publication Chapter. They are two different content types, but have a parent-child relationship through the Book module.

For some reason, my child book page (of Publication Chapter type) is not getting (or at least its not printing) the field value from its Parent (of Publication Parent type).

Any ideas on what I may have done wrong, or didn't do correctly?

hi _grizly, sorry-- no. And I haven't used books in a Drupal 7 project at all yet. I think, ultimately for that question I posted, I had to lean on our back end developer to come up with one of his patented brilliant solutions.
