user garland theme. the panel tab ( currently active one) is not highlighted. When hover over, the tab is highlighted ( with background color change, font color changed), but it is not when click on the tab. the a.active css doesn't applied to the current tab. It seems the panel tab lost the current tab states.

Is there anything to do with the jQuery?
use jQuery UI 6.x-1.4; jQuery Update 6.x-2.0-alpha1
Where should I look for it?

found the culpit: It was the jQuery update caused the problem. Once I disable it, the actived tab back on.

Now the new problem: another module colorbox need to enable the jQuery update module. anyone had used both modules ( panel tabs & color box)? any suggestions?
