I am quite new to "Views". It seems very good at listing nodes...the content created by members. Is it also possible to use it to list the members themselves?

I would like a page on which the following types of info is listed out:

- members from Nevada who have selected "teacher" as their job
- members from Florida who have updated their blog in the last 5 days
- members from New York who have made forum posts recently

Is all of this possible with Views or would I need to use another associated module?

You can use usernode module. so you can select usernode:name as filter of view.
