Hi,

I have added the block and tried subscribing few emails. I have also added a action for the module. But when the user enter's his email, no email is sent.

Without some more details i can't really help you with this. Have you checked Drupal can send emails at all ?
Do you see a watchdog msg when the email is supposed to be sent ? an errer message ? anything related to simple_subscription ?

Hi, I think I have the same issue, and mine installation does send emails as I've tested it. Not only does it not send confirmation emails the email address doesn't get subscribed into the list.

Make sure that the trigger module is set up to send out the emails once someone subscribes?
