Use case or Demo?

I'm working on a demo for this. I'll let you know when it's ready.

While your working on the Demo, what would be the use case for this module? Just a few sentences would be helpful. I think, just by the name, that one can create a 'Author Group', or a group that is co-publishing, which then is assigned to content instead of an individual user. I'm I even close?

Sorry, not quite.

Imagine you have a web site with few groups and a user is subscribed to some of them. When he wants to publish a new post he will need to choose the groups where that post will be published to. Those groups will appear as tags in that post. I had a client that needed to mark very clear, as well, what was the originating group, this is, the group which is authoring that post. With this module the user would have to choose the 'authoring group' for that new post at the add post form. The author group, then, appears as a separated tag.

It is a very simple module but needed by a client of mine, so here it is for the community.
