It is pretty generic but it is up. I have memory restrictions from my host, so I wasn't able to get everything I wanted from my site, but I was able to get most of it. I used Drupal 6.22, Garland theme, Chatroom, Advanced Profile Kit, Image, Video, and later today I will be adding audio. It is a political free for all site, where people will actually have the chance to shout at other people, rather than the usual go to your favorite political site, but have nobody to actually shout at because they all share the same political view as you have. I wanted a social network and as I build mine it became increasing clear to me that it wasn't going to work, I am not that nicey kissey feely type, I needed something gritty and edgy, and that is what I came up with. Check it out, and please feel free to tell me what you think. What should I add? What should I tweak? How is the overall premise of the site?
and whatever other advice or criticsims you may have to offer.

Is there a reason why there's a link called "install Drupal" at the bottom? :P

And the gritty edgy feel... I just see Garland, really.

"Is there a reason why there's a link called "install Drupal" at the bottom?"

Because I don't know how to remove it, it's not in blocks, and it isn't in the theme configure either.

The gritty edgy feel had to do with the gray colors and the content rather than the actual look of the site. Like I said it's generic, and this is my first site.

The Install Drupal link was in my page.tpl.php file of my Garland theme, it's gone now, and along with the photos added to the front page I think the site looks alot better. Any other suggestions or ideas?
Thanks

There's really nothing to see here except a long body of text and a Drupal theme (garland I beleive). I was expecting to see pictures and videos etc ... since its a social network.

My judgement? You have to make it a bit attractive. Get rid of the long prose or make it brief. Throw up a few visual stuff that would entice one to register.

Ok I will get to work on that, but the image galleries are for users and they are on the backside of the log in, I wanted to make the galleries visible to members only, as they are the only ones who can post, and a persons galleries could be a private thing they don't want the whole world to see, the videos will be input by the members also, and are on the other side of a log in. I can put a couple of images on the front page for visitors to look at though, along with the other things visitors have access to.
The long prose on the front page is the site description which lets people know exactly what the site's about. I don't know how else to let people know that it's a social network about raising hell with each other rather than being all nicey nicey like most social networks are, without the description on the front page., but I will certainly come up with something.

I think I have it now, not only does it have the same idea behind it, but it has some images that kind of go along with the sentiment of the site, thanks for the input thus far, and feel free to continue to let me know what I should do to improve it
Thanks
