When I first setup my site, I changed the colors of the Garland banner without any trouble. Since then I have loaded a bunch of modules and everything seemed to work fine. However, this afternoon, I uploaded the panels module and built a page.

Then when to the Theme section to change the color of the banner (Garland is the default) and after making the changes, save, and then got a bunch of SAFE MODE errors (see below). Have tested the rest of the themes and all seem to work accordingly. So the "SAFE MODE" only occurred with the Garland theme, which now only shows the default "blue" banner.

yeah, i have the same problem with garland theme, when i wanted to change anything there, i got the same error. ive heard that this occurs just when the safe mod is on, so i sent an email to my provider to turn it off. Well see if that helps, if yes, ill write down here.

Hi,

It happens because the SAFE MODE of your server is on. There's a tricky way to get ride of this.
