What is the procedure for correctly /properly removing the content profile module? I would like to start use the core profile module on my site.

The reason for this is that I would like to use Janrain Engage (formerly RPX) (http://drupal.org/project/rpx) but it doesn't support content profile for profile field mapping. And since there will be no Drupal 7 release I am considering scaling the user profiles in use on my website.

Please advise at soonest.
