When creating content for the Ad... I click on the image link and the next page has, what I believe the upload button should be, is the word 'Array'. Am I missing a step?

The ad module is not yet working with Drupal 5.x. Patches are welcome, but bug reports are unnecessary at this time.

dillpickle: using development versions of modules indicates that you can help yourself, since you must be a developer willing to contribute fixes and patches back to the codebase. Since it's obvious you're not, I heartily suggest you uninstall the ad.module until an official, and supported, version is released for Drupal 5. Closing.
