How to stop Drupal creating HTML Special Charachters

Hi,

I have noticed that on one of my sites, drupal and/or ckeditor is converting some of my keyboard charachters into the long form html name code, when looking at the html source code of the page.

For example when entering a " it looks right on the screen but in the html code underneath it reads as "

Another example is when entering ' it reads as ' in the html code.

I just want it to say " and ' in the html code.

It looks fine on the screen when looking at a page in the browser. But that isn't the point. I want it to show in simple form in the html code too.

I am using ckeditor and I don't know if it is drupal causing this or ckeditor or in fact some other setting I have.

I simply want the html output to NOT use the long form html special charachter codes.

Can anyone help? I have been looking for over an hour to try and handle this.
