Hi,

This is the first version of D7 patch for this module so it is having a lot of bugs. I will be uploading the new version soon.
I have changed the name of the module from html2book to word2book.

Bugs:
Not creating the images folder
Not deleting the temporary files.

I tried to apply this to what's in the git repo but couldn't. What was this built against? I'd like to test this out.

This patch fails to apply cleanly. I've tried to read the code to understand what it does, but I am not able to make sense of it. The diffs simply doesn't match any patterns in the existing code base.

I suspect the patch is actually created for a different (but similar) project named word2web (that now looks abandoned). Why it was posted in the wrong project's issue queue is a mystery.

As for a Drupal 7 port of HTML2Book, it is now available for download as a regular release, see #2269863: HTML2Book for Drupal 7.

Since there hasn't been a reply to the question from mgifford by the OP for nearly two years, I'm closing this, as the patch doesn't seem to apply.
