Drupal 7 of this module is now available.
I am creating this issue to discuss about the roadmap of Drupal 7 for this module.
Currently,
Please test it (and review the code if you can).
I am looking for your suggestions.

pribeh commentedAre you willing to support a Drupal 6 version?
handsofaten commentedpribeh & vinoth-
I'd be willing to contribute to this module. I'm more familiar with D6, so if you want to keep a D6 branch going I could work on that. However, I'm just as happy contributing to a strong D7 version (would help me become more familiar with D7), which may be better use of resources.
I think the hardcoding of the field name is a problem, it should just be set by the user. I also think this module should not append the event info to the end of the node, but should be more customizable in terms of where it appears and how it displays the event information. It would also be good to have the module generate a block or multiple blocks for placing event info in different parts of the site.
Ultimately, good integration with Views would be very nice.
Thanks for pushing this forward.

Thanks you for your interest. Now you are the maintainer. Please maintain Drupal 6 version of this module.
Thank you again.

pribeh commentedHi hadnsofaten, I'd love to jump on the Drupal 7 bandwagon but unfortunately I have too many complex websites running Drupal 6 and so I'd have to throw in my support for a Drupal 6 version of this module. Thanks for offering your help in maintaining a D6 version. I can assist testing the module.

skystill commentedHello,
This module works perfectly for me,
I succeeded in viewing guest of the event from facebook.
Can we possibly show other information such as the location
or the picture's event.
We can found some documentation here : http://www.phpeveryday.com/articles/Facebook-Programming-API-Events-P852.html
Thanks for your work!

soundboy89 commentedHi, just wanted to add one more "aye!" for the Drupal 6 request.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedI would REALLY like to be able to create the event on our web site and have it create an event on FB. How much would it take to sponsor this addition?
Yorgg commentedIsn't there a more elegant way to do the step 4 of the install?
I'm afraid having the user to copy a certain part of the url will confuse most of the users.

vinoth.3v commented@gr8britton : I am thinking about the rewrite of this module and use the Field API of Drupal 7. I hope I can speed up the development of this module. But I am not sure when It will be ready.
Glad to get sponsored. It is up to you since we are contributing it to drupal.

mubiesam commentedHi skystill,
I'm kind of envy that you had made this module working...
Are you working on D7, meanwhile, while you can view the guest of the event from fb (means guest responded), does the 3 options (Attending, Maybe attending and Not attending) change accordingly in Drupal page...
I had followed every steps to create the event in Drupal successfully, but after login with another fb account and summit "Attending", nothing changed in Drupal page, nor in fb event page...
I can not find any error message to dig, can you give me a hint...
Thanks,
Sam

Have there been any updates on this recently? Skystill's work up above looked so promising! I'm trying to find a way to pull an event feed from a specific facebook page & load them as nodes.

Ivo.Radulovski commentedHi, we wrote such a module recently and would like to maintain it on drupal.org. This looks like a good space to continue this module. Is there any planned activity here?
I tried to reach our via email few weeks ago but did not get any response.
Best,
Ivo

Ivo.Radulovski commentedAs far as I understand the current Facebook Graph API does not allow RSVP. So we will focus on #15.
