I'm confused as to why the javascript code to popup a link popup so you can add a link when clicking the link button (that's a mouthful) is available in 4.6.x but missing in 4.7.x and 5.x.

I've added the code from 4.6.x to the 5.x .js file and updated the tag in the quicktags.module file and it works perfectly.

Just requesting that this code be re-introduced to the .js file.

This version of quicktags is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
