Title: ACL incompitable with Authcache?! » Authcache incompatible with ACL?!
Status: Active » Closed (works as designed)

The cost of using Authcache is that Drupal does not work normally anymore. You are on your own to determine whether your site still works well enough after installing Authcache, but you should never ever seek assistance for an issue outside of the Authcache queue, before you have verified that it also occurs when Authcache is disabled.

There's nothing that ACL can do, except to detect the presence of Authcache and warn you about it, which is what 1.4 does.
