Can you remove the hardcoded "This site is powered by Drupal. Theme: Simple Clean by acke @ happiness.".

I'd like to keep a clean slate with drush, having to manually remove this every single theme update would be a bit silly.

Thanks for your kind words! I think the best way is to make the credits a optional theme setting. I will try to change this for 7.x-1.4.

By keeping it you can show your appreciation for the developer.

But for whatever reason you don't wanna keep it, you can always make a sub-theme and get around this problem of removing it manually every time you update it.
