I do not think it is worth reporting that a URL is redirected from https to http as long as the URL is the same.

This redirect has been send from the server or site. It should know best. If they think this is what they want to do it's correct. Tell the site owner...

These are internal redirects which are created by http://drupal.org/project/securepages

Then it's securepages mainainers that should know why they do this or it's a configuration option. You need to find out. But linkchecker cannot repair malfunctions of other modules or sites... At least logic wise everything is correct. The issue is not inside linkchecker.
