Hi

After enabling this module and then tjeck the box in my content type, to block normal page view, my browser came with this message:

"The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

I tried to access my frontpage, but I could not access my entire site at all.

Then, I deleted the module from my modules folder, and I could once again access my site. I then tried to add the module again to my modules folder, and yet again Firefox returned the message above.

I was only testing this module, not really in need of it as of right now, but it would be a great feature that I would use for future projects.

To what did you try to redirect the page? Another node, frontpage, view, ...?

Actually i missed that field, and saved it blank. I can't go back and change it because if I upload the module again, my site will only return the message again, and I am not able to access my site at all.

I did however install the module on another D7 install, and wrote a path in the field and then it works fine.

So I guess the error is because I didn't fill out the redirect field? The field should be required then right?

If it's blank, it should redirect to the site_404 or the frontpage. Did you have anything set there?

I'm having the same problem as the original poster.

I have two content types that I use to fill a list view but I do not want the full nodes to be viewable just the views lists.

I have a redirect path set for both but I get the error message

"The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

I found that the issue stems from the following settings:

In views when setting up a page and under format using:

Format

Show: Content | Settings

This breaks the redirect as it's recognising the rows as full nodes.

By changing the format settings to:

Format

Show: Fields | Settings

I hope this is useful to others and perhaps something that can be fixerd as this is a really simple and useful module.
