Hi,
Restricting Access at the Primary link Level on the Menu
I am an amateur drupal programmer finalising a Drupal 6 website which is designed to service an 800 membership strong association website for the martial art of Aikido which requires the anonymous user not to be able to access the members area ( menu item / primary link ) and its associated sub content but still have access to the other menu items ( primary links).
To date I can achieve this using permisions but this restricts all node access.
Simple Access Module:-
I have been working with the simple access module which seems to be a logical way to achieve this , I believe I have hit all the " T and C's" but with no success. I suspect there is a bug with regard the the user access group and access profiles that are required to be configured as the "view" box will not hold selection. Any one with any experience of this possible bug I would appreciate your knowledge .
Before I move onto trying the the Taxonomy- Access module or the Menu - Module can anyone enlighten me on what I may have overlooked in trying to set up a restricted access on a primary ( menu ) link. There must be an easy solution for this which is currently evading me.
Best Regards
Simon Fraser
