Add new category with freetagging

Description

This seems like it would be a great module to use to solve the age old problem of adding a category to an existing category tree. That is, enable both freetagging and superselect and allow the user to add their node to the new category under the chosen current category.

Great module and much needed as is.

This is a planned feature. It requires a bit more hacking code than I like
so I am contemplating cleaner solutions and pitfalls before I implement it.

Hi,

I was wondering if this planned feature is still in the picture?
Thanks if it is! I would very much like it!

Not likely as the basic structure for taxonomy doesn't accommodate this. I can only fake it in the node edit page.

Hi,

I saw that cck_taxonomy_super_select_ultra is doing this.
May be good to get in touch and arrange module syncronisation?
The only problem with cck_taxonomy_ssu is the fact that there is no synchronisation on front with the normal taxonomy system. I filed a feature request with some code I found on: http://drupal.org/node/210301#comment-695054
The cck_taxonomy_ssu module owner told me he doesn't have time to accomodate this. May be you can help?
This way your module and the cck_taxonomy_ssu have the same great functionality and people can choose to use cck or your module related to if they want to work with cck or not? Right?
Thanks for considering this!

Greetings,
Martijn

Set version to 5 if that's ok.
