OK, while I'm at it, here's an additional cumulative patch that includes inline delete :-)

See attached.

The patch includes the above and adds the delete feature also.

Please review and commit when possible.

It was for D7 and I've no intention of writing a patch for D6.
Open another issue if necessary.
