Hi.

I committed translations to the 4.7 and 5.x branches of the nn project yesterday (2. March 9:26), but I still only see the HEAD branch when I select "Add new release". Also, snapshot releases weren't packaged.

What am i doing wrong?

Btw, the HEAD branch was empty, and I added a .placeholder there now. Maybe that was the problem?

I've tried tagging for DRUPAL-5--1-0 as well (and adding a release for it), but packages still aren't built. Why oh why?

i'd bet $100 it's because your translation isn't valid. see http://drupal.org/node/109181, in particular, http://drupal.org/node/109181#comment-185545 (comment #2).

you can see at http://drupal.org/node/124033/release that your release nodes exist. they're just not published yet since the packaging script failed to process them as valid translations...

i just deleted the release node you created for DRUPAL-5--1-0, since you'll need to move that tag once you fix the errors in your translation. first, correct the translation-specific errors as described in the issue i linked to at the top. then, wait until the development snapshot release nodes have tarballs published. once those are published, with downloadable files, you'll know it's safe to create an official release of your translation.
