Hi Juan,

If I upload an image as a user, then log in as admin and go into administer > content > mygallery to import the image into the gallery, I get this error.

imagepng() [function.imagepng]: Unable to open 'sites/default/files/gallery_assist/1/gallery_assist13/img/timeth1obox.png' for writing: Permission denied in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain/httpdocs/johnno/includes/image.gd.inc on line 214.

The strange thing is, the image does get saved to the gallery but the download link is not shown under the image. I have other images in the gallery that have the download link, but after this error started, the download link stopped appearing under new images.

The error is a little different but maybe it's the same problem??
