Love the new features of drupal 5.1 but prefer the old method of installation. I understand the attraction of a web-based installer, but for those familiar with the command line and services involved, the old way of installing was exceedingly simple, and also very powerful when something needed to be changed. I've found that installation is actually more difficult with the web-based installer because it hides the SQL and other tasks. This is frustrating when something isn't "just so" for the installer even though it would be easy to fix with human intervention.
It would be nice to have the option of installing drupal the old way; create a database/user, upload SQL via command line, change the settings file, you're done.
