Issue Summary
I'm offering to co-maintain Global Redirect.
It looks like development has stalled. I contacted the maintainer directly (2.5 weeks ago) in order to have #201675: Redirect to version in native language committed, with no response whatsoever:

Hi.
Sorry I didn't respond to that email. I don't recall ever receiving it...
I'm happy to have a co-maintainer and I agree the project is a little stalled, however I should have time to help out in the near future.
What would be really useful is knowing exactly what is tested and RTBC as the "edge cases" (from my perspective) of things like multilingual and URL rewriting related issues are ones I find it very difficult to test as I don't have a "real use case" to try it on.
