Port Facebook Style Statuses to Facebook to D7

Yes, once there is a stable D7 version.

Would you say that FBSS for D7 is stable now?

No, it's in an alpha unstable release. I'm watching it for progress.

I'm starting work on this but I'm going to use fboauth instead of fb. It's much lighter and I can integrate more easily.

Although, I may still need to take a look at upgrading this to D7, I think the better plan may be to use http://drupal.org/project/facebook_rules. Once Statuses D7 Rules integration is working, this can all be done and configured by Rules and all the advantages of it. I hope to test it shortly.

Statuses is stable now. #1255648: Rules integration is broken and #1531976: Token integration is broken both are fixed. So you can go ahead and create 7.x version of this module. I'm eager to see this module working with Statuses. However still we don't have official stable release.

I agree it's ready. I have some time sensitive client work that I need to finish first. I don't currently have a timeline on when I can start. I don't think it will be too much work, I just need to find the time.
