When blocking a spammer one could then add a comment there.

The IP should be the most recently used. This could be retrieved from the sessions, the comment or the watchdog table.

The watchdog log and also the views report (admin/reports/blocked_hosts) already has links to project honeypot for all blocked IPs, and these are not limited to authenticated accounts.

You'll also notice at project honeypot that the viewable profiles for IP addresses frequently differ from the info returned in the blocking query, especially in regards to threat level and last seen info. For instance, I've seen queries that return a threat level of, say, 8, but when I check the viewable profile it is often considerably higher, like 17, for example.

The idea is to make commenting on IPs at projecthoneypot easier by offering a convenient link to admins who block users.

I haven't observed the differences you mention.
