Locale module not taking in new translated strings?

Hi all,

I have imported the traditional Chinese po file successfully, but when I tried to enter more translations manually using the web interface, it would save the strings but not update them on the site. For example, I translated "Recommended Links" into Chinese, but when I view the story, it still shows as "Recommended Links" instead of the Chinese translation that I entered. Is there some other steps that I've missed?
