I am using firefox 5 and ogv video does not play when I click the play button. Jplayer works fine in opera and chrome. I saw a similar thread with a patch but was for D6, but I am on D7

Changed title becuase I'm having the same problem with audio. Using jplayer through views and it works just fine in Chrome, Safari, and IE, but for some reason in Firefox I get the message "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://.../sites/all/libraries/jplayer/Jplayer.swf"

my problem here was that the Firefox is the only one that uses this swf fallback method, and this file was not actually added to the directory. (It's always the most obvious thing that we miss eh?)

After making sure the swf file was actually added, this worked in firefox.

I do not know if this was the problem with the OP so I'll leave this open.
