I noticed a lot of recurring issues about the checkbox in the lower left corner not showing up. It seems that some themes, some modules and/or javascript aggregation is the cause. I created this issue to combine all related issues in the hope of finally fixing this long standing bug.

It seems that #1247280: Fixing html breakage once and for all fixes a lot (if not all) of these issues. Could someone confirm?

It seems that this issue is mostly caused by javascript errors in other modules or custom code.
I'm closing this issue since these issues don't share a same root cause.
