Set back to active as it is still going on, three of the posts from the latest posts block showed up as spam just now.
Also on a thread I started http://drupal.org/node/1249034#comment-4864758 is an advertisement for golf clubs!

It looks like a new breed of spam for proper products not fake rolex and men's pharamaceuticals, often Nike shoes (so you can find more by searching for that brand!), with copy written in credible English; I have seen this type of spam on other forums recently. Is it being done manually? It looks that way.

Is there anywhere on this site where spammers' methods are analysed?

If it is manual spam, is it linked to the locked, but serious and unresolved issue of false positives on Mollom (e.g. by ACLs getting filled with IPs from reputable ISPs who assign IPs dynamically, as the mobile broadband providers do)? http://drupal.org/node/684424 This is a problem with Mollom which the module maintaners are not, as far as I can see, addressing, but it maybe relates to the Mollom servers rather than the module?

One test of its method would be to find out whether it is getting past the on-server spam protection methods, such as the Honeypot module. http://drupal.org/project/honeypot?

This is an issue in the webmasters queue which has been fixed. Mollom has its own queue.
