Hi

I want to have a block on top of my regular content that displays a random rotation of some 'featured' stories in the site.

Also, I want to list the titles of the '10 next' stories at the bottom of the regular content, so the front page displays:

* First, the featured stories (title+teaser+image)
* Then, the 10 latest stories (title+teaser+image)
* Last, just the titles of stories 11-20

Would the Node queue module be a good choice for this? Or can you suggest an alternative?

Did you ever find a solution for this? I would be interested in learning how to do this. What I would like to be able to do on my frontpage is to have the title+teaser of the current featured story, and then just a list of titles for the previous 10 or so stories. This seems like something that could easily be done with a snippet of PHP, however I am new to Drupal and rusty with PHP so any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.
