tekante commentedI have been unable to replicate this issue but based on the information you provided the URL being requested appears correct. Can you try clearing cache and seeing if there is a problem with your menu router table that clearing the cache fixes. If that doesn't work could you provide any other details about your setup? A list of modules you have installed may help.

Miao1994 commentedHi,
I updated IMCE search to the last dev release. I cleared the cache as you suggested, nevertheless I get error message like this:
An AJAX HTTP error occurred.
HTTP Result Code: 404
Debugging information follows.
Path: /imce_search_callback/0/users/username/filename
StatusText: Not Found
ResponseText: {"search":"Searched users\/username
and subdirectories for filename","files":[]}
search":"Searched users\/usermane and subdirectories
for filename","files":[]}
Modules installed are (Drupal 7.8):

Chaos Suite Tool 7.x-1.0-rc1
SMTP Authentication Support 7.x-1.0-beta1
IMCE 7.x-1.5
IMCE MKdir 7.x-1.0
IMCE Search 7.x-1.x-dev
Advanced help 7.x-1.0-beta1
Fillpdf 7.x-1.1
Libraries 7.x-1.0
Login Destination 7.x-1.0
Security Review 7.x-1.x-dev
Sort comments 7.x-1.x-dev
Token 7.x-1.0-beta6
Panels 7.x-3.0-alpha3
WebForm Token
CKeditor 7.x-1.3
External Link 7.x-1.12
Views 7.x-3.x-dev
WebForm 7.x-3.13
Webform Tokens 7.x-1.x-dev
Could be the error related to file or folder permission? Users can't delete or rename files as set by IMCE profiles.
Thanks in advance

tekante commentedLooking at the response text reported it appears the request is actually being received and processed correctly, just the status code returned is incorrect. Are you able to confirm that you get a 200 status code instead of a 404 on other pages. If so, do other parts of the site which make AJAX requests return a correct 200 status code as well? I do not think the permissions for deleting or renaming files are having an effect.

Miao1994 commentedI didn't see any error regarding AJAX in my website; anyway, I just solved the issue enabling rewrite rules in apache2 and clean-urls in Drupal. Now the module works well, except when I search a file result shows files (path files) previously deleted in the searching folder. I don't know if is a module or database issue.
Thanks
Claudio

Miao1994 commentedSolved: deleted files were find by IMCE search because related link were still in mySQL. These file were deleted not using IMCE but directly in server folder (I have direct access to my web server).

tekante commentedAttached is a patch for sites which do not have clean urls configured which should resolve the 404 error
