Hey all. I've only been working in Drupal for about 6 mo. now and I just broke my site.
The issue - I recently installed FFMpeg (Debian) on a dreamhost server.I am using a shared domain so I do not have access to their c-panel. I successfully installed and ran ffmpeg (though I didn't get a chance to integrate w/ the flashvideo module), through a shell client for windows (puTTy). When I was in my site configuration menu,(file upload path settings I believe) I hit submit and I am prompted with "you have chosen to open 'blank' which is a: application/x-httpd-php, drupal ". This happens in IE, Safari, and Firefox (haven't tried opera yet). I'm not sure how to check versions on dreamhost (for Apache and PHP). I changed the output path from '/files' to '/home/username' (in the file upload settings), and after that I ran into problems. I've researched a bit on this issue, and I don't think that those settings will affect anything. I didn't find much relating to this issue, but the two posts I found mention the interaction between Apache and PHP. I have a feeling that, in running these commands I messed up the configuration in Apache. If anyone could give feedback as to how to check the versions on my dreamhost server, or any troubleshooting options, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

You've altered a handler in one of your apache configuration files. Here's the background:
