glossary module for 5.x?
eiffel - March 5, 2007 - 22:10
Hi,
I've recently installed drupal 5 and am now wanting to install a glossary for my site.
The glossary module only goes up to 4 though.
Hmmm, seems to me like I can either
1) wait for the glossary module to be updated
2) possibly update it myself, I have some coding experience but am new to drupal
3) re-install an older version of drupal
each of which seems for one reason or another problematic
anyone have any ideas?

I did add my interest on
I did add my interest on this module in one issue but I got no response, and it was some days ago. I doubt if it is actively maintained, but it seems an important feature to have for me, too.
I need this module too
I cannot migrate from 4.6 to 5.1 without this module.:(
me too
anybody can recomend another module to instead of this?
another one
I'm another one for this list. I'm doing a non-profit site advising people on their pensions funding options, so it would be ideal to link in all the hundreds of jargon words that they might come across. Would definitely snap it up if ever released for 5.x. Cheers, John
I'd be interested too.. but
I'd be interested too.. but still busy in putting up everything else - and since at this moment 'my' glossary would only contain 10-20 words I think I can survive with pages / taxonomy combination for now.. - ..but I'll definately come back and check what needs to be done to migrate glossary to 5..

Glossary for 5.x: Another interested party
I would be very interested in a glossary module for 5.x as well. I've been trying to work out a glossary using views and taxonomy, but so far have not been able to set it up.
Glossary for 5.x: Need It and Offering Bounty
I also need this module and am willing to offer a $50 bounty to get it. If others contribute as well, we can get this done quicker. Anybody else willing to toss in some cash?

Has anyone been able to hack
Has anyone been able to hack any version of glossary to run in Drupal 5.x?
I'm trying to do so, but I don't understand that mutch of drupal to do it fast...
When I install the glossary 4.7 into my drupal modules directory, drupal only shows a blank page until I remove the glossary module...
need help here... :/
Me, too
I also need a running glossary for Drupal 5.1
The glossary was one of the big features in Drupal. Don't let it go to waste in version 5.
Glossary module HEAD is Drupal 5
The Glossary module is Drupal 5 compatible download the 5.1.dev. I'm using it on my site.
Does this module do
Does this module do something similar to this?
http://investopedia.com/terms/i/
I'm trying to see how I can create a glossary listing that will let me sort through terms and add definitions for each word and have its own URL.
Will this glossary module do that or what am I actually looking for?
