acbramley commentedThat wasn't hard, I discovered a broken filter in the master display. For anyone else that discovers this error, make sure you check the master display (you have to tick "Always show the master display" on admin/structure/views/settings)

johnvI'm coming from #1344610: Filtering on content type gives error No valid values found, but this didn't help: I have the same filters for all displays, so no differences in Master display, and no broken links.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedHow does this 'work as designed' when you can't hide the Master Display without breaking your View? I had this problem when I had the Master Display hidden and so the Content Type filter was empty. So when I unhide the Master Display, select Content Type to Select All and save, it works. Is this how it's supposed to be designed?

The initial creator marked this issue as closed works as designed... In general there are definitive multiple issues struggling with this problem. The more you have the more confuses this people. Especially if people post random rants things get's hard to maintain.

BrianLewisDesign commentedAdmin > Structure > Views > Settings:
[x] Always show the master display
Go to your view, refresh page, click on Master tab, find "Unknown" value in filter, set new value, save view!
