I have used Node template panels to replace the node layouts with panels. I have created many variants for different content types. The problem is that for the first variant it works fine but for the subsequent variants the blocks are nor being displayed. I have placed the blocks using the context module.

Can someone help?

Why don't you place the blocks with panels instead? It's hard to tell if the problem is caused by panels when you are using context.
