Photo blog with Drupal 5.1
This question seems like a typical request. Several searches did not lead me to a guide explaining the options, modules, and considerations when creating a photo album site with Drupal.
I have been reading about image modules under Drupal 5.1; image node, gallery2, and acidfree. These choices give me the basic concepts for photo album integration with Drupal, yet I am not familiar with their differences and dependency modules in relation to 5.1.
Ideally, my goal would be to create a photo blog with Drupal and it would similar features to Picasa web album.
Nested Photos Albums
Tags / tag cloud
Search Photo Albums based on tags
Comments on the photos
Thumbnail generator control
Watermarking
Mass uploads like ftp or ssh
Good site speed; avoid bloated modules.
Control Accessibility
I would like to control accessibility by groups and user; and have an elegant interface like http:// andreys.info . Audry site recipe looks like a good starting point, yet it was generated for Drupal 4.7 and some modules are not available in 5.1. Please let know if you could provide some guidance in applying this site recipe to 5.1.

Photoblog module
Have you looked at the existing photoblog module. I haven't used it, but it might do some of what you need.

www.andreys.info is on 5.1 now
Stop calling me Audry! I'm a boy! :)) Joking. I actually used to this mistake. It's auto spelling correction error. And quite funny one (at least for me).
www.andreys.info is on 5.1 now. I'll give some comments and how-to later next week hopefully. But basically setup is the same as 4.7. Upgrade was smoooooth.
