horizontal book navigation menu

In the themes horizontal navigation menu I want to have the following:

---------[pagetitle/logo]------------------primary links-------book1---------book2--------------
-----------------------------------------(secondary links)---(bookmenu1)---(bookmenu2)----------

The bookmenu entrys should work as the secondary links as usal (they only should be vissible if "book X" is active).

Maybe this works with "sympal book menu module" but this does not work with Drupal 5.x
Is there another soulution?
