Localization issues

If you try to translate version 5.x-1.x-dev (dated 2007-Mar-01) using the locale module, you get into trouble with html tags and variable values being included in the English source texts.

For instance (taken from the locale pages):

<p>The following email address will be subscribed to the email lists:<br /><strong>admin@domain.com</strong></p>

<p>If you would like to have a different email address subscribed, change your email address in the account settings tab.</p>

<p>Your current email address is currently subscribed to all lists.<p>

<p>Your current email address is not subscribed to 1 list(s)!<p>

I'm no Drupal/php expert, but it seems that the problem is, that html tags and variables are included in the t('......') statements. I had to make it work on a non-English website, and therefore tweaked mailman_manager.module until it was translatable.

There was also a problem with beginning and ending spaces in the t('....') sentences, that made it hard to make the translations work. Plus two minor spelling errors.

I don't know how to make a patch, but this attached 'mailman_manager.module.txt' file is my tweaked 'mailman_manager.module' file with txt added as extension. I hope that it can be helpful in some way.
