I am new to Drupal. Please give me tips how Drupal is SEO friendly and what are the things I have to follow to create a search engine friendly website.

Drupal is extremely search engine friendly all by itself.. Generates clean markups ..etc
Anyway.. You can think about utilising the path, pathauto modules for generating descriptive and SE-friendlier links, And the Page title module to enhance your control on the page title itself ( the one that goes within the tags ).
