Swiss Drupal Camp focuses on E-Commerce
(tls) From 2 – 4 September 2011, Switzerland will host a Drupal Commerce Camp, which will take place at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The event mainly focuses on the commercial and economical benefits of this open source software solution — for these reasons, the first day will be dedicated to business aspects only. Technical aspects will be tackled on the following days. An additional highlight will be the permanent exhibition of the sponsors in the foyer.
A day ticket costs 150 Swiss francs and 300 francs for three days. At the current exchange rate this price converts to roughly the same amount in Euro. A special price is offered to members of various professional associations.
Since 2001, the Content Management Platform Drupal has continuously gained reputation worldwide. Drupal is the preferred choice for Amnesty International and Greenpeace, as well as for the Swiss Insurance Association, the White House and the World Bank.

gregglesPlease see http://drupal.org/node/280488 for details on how the process works.
Also, events like this are not usually posted to the front page of drupal.org itself. I suggest posting it as an event on groups.drupal.org where it can be promoted to the front page of that site.
