Minor security update here: a bug with the new character system prevented the character unblock functionality to properly reads items data. This has been fixed in this release and you should absolutely update otherwise your characters will be able to unblock even if they are not the owner.

Release notes

This is an important upgrade containing architecture changes.

Several bugs has been fixed, through the test suit.

More than 500 unit, functional and integrations tests has been written.

Documentation page and developer handbook is being written.

This release contains a lot of refactoring to follow drupal conventions and preparing 8.x releases. You will notice that PSR-0 conventions is also used, although the loaders does not make use of it now. This is just at folder-level.

I initially planned to write a full release log, but I will do it properly in the dev handbook. The API should be now pretty stable and only minor fixes may be committed. Here are the steps to upgrade:

Important: Disable the WoW Guild Rank module before any atempt to upgrade to 2.x. Do not uninstall it, just disable it.
Download and install the entity module.
Put your site in maintenance mode and visit the update.php script. Apply the updates and check nothing has failed.
(Optional) If you previously disabled the WoW Guild Rank module, you can re-enable it.

WoW API 7.x-2.0 Changelog since 7.x-1.x

WoW API:

wow_http_request no longer requires $langcode parameter; This was redundant with $query['locale'] parameter.
wow_http_request now returns a WoWHttpResponse object; This is mainly for methods that uses it to set the request timestamp, region used, and locale.
Changed the WoWHttpException object: getMessage will now return the status returned by the API.
Removed wow_locale_default and wow_region_default variables.

WoW Realm:

entity related methods are now deprecated in favore of using Entity system.

WoW Character:

entity related methods are now deprecated in favore of using Entity system.
Only css related to character colors are kept. Other properties has been deleted.
wow_character_classes and wow_character_races works differently. Either you provides a language to get all available information, either you provide a wow_character entity to get the class info associated.
