Hi there!
If I write one of the following characters (Š, Đ, Č, Ć, or Ž) in title or slogan changes don't get accepted. What could be the reason? I have Drupal 5.1 and I've installed it over Fantastico installer. What could be the problem? I see in phpMyAdmin that database Collation is set to "latin1_swedish_ci". Should I install Drupal without Fantastico?

utf-8
may want to try UTF-8 encoding. just a suggestion, I'm running two drupal sites off one install, one in English, the other in German. works great.
Interesting post here...
I have the same kind of problems while coding php (I'm a noob :)
Looking for the cause of my problems I found this post:

May be this can help...
UPDATE
After reading Brians post I started looking in Dreamweavers help function.
Now I solved my problems, just by setting the modules encoding to UTF-8.
