We have developed a mobile application using the Drupal platform and Sencha Touch as the mobile interface.
We are looking for someone who is very good with the Views module and developing very custom views which will most certainly require some custom PHP. This is our highest priority.
Secondly, we hope to create a desktop version of our application. So if you have talent for theming, that will be a plus.
This is initially slated to be a short term full time project, through the month of September. If we are a great match and have additional work, this could be an ongoing full time opportunity with benefits.
We run all of our issues through Redmine ticket systems and have most of this stuff already with specifications. If you're a developer that works well with this sort of process (working through an issue queue), you'll probably be a great fit.
