When I click "Re-enable modules" I get the following

Notice: Undefined index: core in upgrade_assist_enable_modules() (line 680 of /home/xxxxx/public_html/test/d7/sites/all/modules/upgrade_status/upgrade_assist/upgrade_assist.module).

After re-enabling modules, the checklist goes back to "Download new project versions" and gets stuck there.

Upgrade: 6.22 to 7.4
upgrade_status 6.x-1.x-dev (2011-Aug-09)

Seems to be OK with 6.x-1.1

Triaging all Drupal 6 Upgrade Status issues. As Drupal 6 is no longer supported by this module and this code does not exist in the Drupal 7 version, closing this.
